About IFG

Annually organised by NUS Students’ Sports Club and in  collaboration with NUS Office of Student Affairs, Inter-Faculty Games (IFG) is NUS’ largest campus life event with over 3,000 student and staff athletes, and boasts an outreach to more than 50,000 individuals. IFG aims to foster Inter-Faculty spirit by bringing all 9 faculties and Yale-NUS College together to compete in 27 sporting events for the prized Tan Eng Chye Trophy over 6 weeks.

Alongside the exciting sports competitions, there is also  a heart-pumping Opening and Closing Ceremony.

This year’s IFG Opening Ceremony will be held with Supernova Ignite where it features an exciting line up of programmes, including athletes’ oath-taking and march-in, performances, and food booths to kickstart the whole IFG season. The IFG Closing Ceremony is held in conjunction with one of the sporting events to conclude IFG on a high note! With food, dance, drama and more, we aim to create a platform for everyone in NUS to participate in IFG and have a great time together!
